Manual windshield wiper

My 52 3A has a manual wiper on the passenger side. It needs a replacement. The replacements I find are for early military models and cj2as. The parts stores I have contacted said theirs would not work on a 3A.
Would anyone have an idea where I may find one?

maybe look at Model A Ford Parts. I think they are the same.

People think I go out of my way to piss them off.
Trust me, It's not out of my way at all.

Purchase the manual wiper for the 2A, then shorten the wiper arm to fit the 3A windshield.

So the length of the wiper arm is the problem. I guess there was enough of them made for the aftermarket to be interested in duplicating them.
I'll probably install an electric one for now.
Goal is to install a dual stage fuel pump then vacuum wipers.

I thought the manual wiper for the 3A was the same as the 3B.  When I see images like the one posted here:

http://www.cj3apage.com/3Ayabbfiles26/Attachments/image_112.jpg

it reinforces my view that the arm is longer (not shorter) than the 2A version (the version available from vendors).

Comparing the two versions side-by-side is a challenge and a quick measurement of the arm length could verify the correct arm.  Comparison here:

http://cj3b.info/Tech/WiperManual.html

I may be wrong but if the arm is shortened further, you'd be moving the blade real close to the shaft.  The above 3A image from the outside seems to indicate the blade is closer to the halfway mark on the arm - indicating a longer than 2A arm.  IF that's the case, then cutting and welding a splice in a shorter available arm is a quick fix.

Rus thank you for the information. I do need to spend some time on the 3B page.
All my wiper needs is the rubber blade. I will pursue the idea of replacing the blade on the arm. Thanks again.

I just recently noticed a blade available.  It may have been advertised for a while and I just didn't notice it.

Of course, no rivet offered so you'll have to source that.

As I haven't gotten to that spot yet, I don't know which method (3B info for replacing rubber strip or Walck's replacement blade) is easier.

Russ,
You're correct.  It needs to be lengthened.  It's been a while since I've done this mod.

I picked up some 1/4" rod and added to the length.
