Looks good.  I noticed the EP 140 gear oil in your photo.  Original spec calls for 90w.

Yep, that's what my Service Manual says too. I think they owned shares in the company that made 90w cause you pour it in constantly. The 140 stays put.

It's finally starting to look like a Jeep instead of a large pile of parts. The front and rear axles are installed!

Coming right along! Axles are on the springs, 11" brakes are complete, front suspension is complete, shocks installed and the wheels are aligned. I bought the shitty bell crank repair parts from OMX. They were looser that what I took out. Sent them back for a refund. Spent $54 on a NOS repair kit from Obsolete Automotive Warehouse. It is a large bronze bushing and center bolt. Fits and feels like new! Ya get what ya pay for! I re-engineered the brake/clutch shaft. I made nylon washers that fit snug on the shaft to act as a grease seal. Made a bushing to fit between the brake pedal and clutch arm to replace the washer and cotter pin. then I made the anti-wobble bolt to hold it all together, feels like new! My Willys, just like most new cars now requires a 10mm wrench, the reproduction brake lines have US threads but the hex is 10mm. The transfer case and transmission are next...

Started tearing into the transfer case today. Doesn't look too bad but I'll replace all the bearings, shafts and thrust washers. I also pulled the trigger on a new Saturn overdrive. I bought it from Kaiser Willys. They had the best price, $1049.99 with a shifter kit and free shipping. Who has the double lip seals?

Working on the transfer case. Everything has been cleaned and inspected. All the threaded holes have been re-tapped. Case checked for cracks. Even the pilot bushing has been removed (PITA! had to cut it out cause the bread trick didn't work). Here's a few pictures, before and after. Waiting for parts to come in the mail. The transmission is next in line.
