I have one somewhere.  Let me dig through my engines and I will get some pics for you.

I know I have one but I went through all of my willys parts and I found 12 heads.  None of them are the supersonic head.  I need to get with my old man to see if he grabbed it for one of his jeeps.  Something is telling me he grabbed it for his fishing boat motor.  The 134 motor is one of my favorites as well as my dads.  I do remember that it had some cracks in the water jackets that were brazed up.  Never ran it myself though.  Always just decked the original heads .020 and got the same effect.  Did .075 off a head and added reliefs for the valves.  Purred like a pissed off kitten.  I will keep looking.  It has to be somewhere.  Might be in one of my other project trucks.  I stash parts in tons of places. I need need a bigger shop.

I found the head.  Now I know why I tossed it in the back shed.  It has been brazed on the top water jacket.  Looks like someone let it freeze and it split.  This thing has been sitting in the ground for awhile.  I have only had this one for about a year and I figured I would have to grind it all out and re weld it and do a full pressure test.  The braze job is your typical farm job.  I am a welder and machinist by trade and it makes me cringe.  The spark plug holes are pretty well shot too.  The threads have rotted away from sitting on the ground for who knows how many years.  To be honest you can get the same gains by decking a standard about .020.  this one will most likely need decked anyway.  With it freezing and cracking as much as it did I am sure there is some warpage.  Probably not enough to cause sealing issues but it is on the line.  The rust at a minimun needs cleanded off the surface anyway.  If it is something that you would like give me an offer plus shipping.  It is old junk but fixing and selling old vehicles is part of my livelyhood so I don't normally get rid of parts for free.  It is a fixable head but the welds need redone and the spark plug holes will need oversized or heli-coiled.  It would be a short coil too.  The thread holes were not that long.

I contacted a guy in Utah that deals in willys parts to see if he has one on hand.  He has a ton of parts and I am going to be making a run down there in the next month or two to grab some pieces anyways.  If he has one that is in better shape than mine it might be a better option.

Honestly, I would like one that is already cleaned, decked, repaired etc...  either ready to install or close to it.  I do want to thank you for taking your time on this. I'm sure the right head will show itself soon!

No worries.  Good luck with your search.  Those heads are hard to find.  I heard back from some guys I know in Utah and Wyoming and zero luck.  Lots of heads just no supersonic.
