Picture posting practice

This one was from the view library page, copied link for forums.

Same place but the picture was from my phone.

I was having difficulty getting my pictures to post correctly.  It looks as though the pictures from my Iphone post in a different size than the ones from my camera.  The picture of the springs was from my Cybershot, the phone picture was from my I phone, both were copied using the same link from the photo library.  Not sure why that would be but it sure makes a difference on the photo.

Anybody else run into this?

Does the iphone have a manual setting that allows you to change the saved file size of the pics? It may be set on a smaller size than you prefer. I don't have an iphone so I can't mess with it myself.

In your phone/radio thread you mentioned having trouble posting any more than 3 photobucket photos. This is a problem that has come up before. Here's the fix:

Use the photobucket "IMG" link but remove the URL junk. Remove what is in bold font below and you can include as many photobucket pics as you want.

When I take a pic with the I phone I have to email to my computer in order to get it out on Photo bucket, and yes when you do that it asks you what size you want it.  I'll give it a try with "Actual" size and " large" to see which works, good thinking, thanks.

I'll go back into the radio post and see if cleaning up the junk allows more pics.  That's kind of a weird deal, is it new with PB?

Sounds like that's the culprit. E-mailing full sized pics from your phone will likely be slow and could eat up a lot of data if you are on a limited plan so just watch out. If you are connected via wi-fi it won't matter. Better yet, plug your phone into your computer and just copy and paste them then upload to PhotoBucket.

New within the past few months. Annoying but at least there's a way around it.

Gun,
Another thing to look for is a Photobucket App for your Iphone.  This application should allow you to snap a photo, then immediately send it to your PB account.  My cheapy smart phone has an app for this, so I'm almost sure an Iphone would too.
